Easily find any transaction in QuickBooks using the find feature. From the menu at the top of your screen, select Edit > Find.

The find window will open. Then it’s an easy 3-step process:

Select the “Advanced” tab at the top
Choose “Amount” in the filter list
Click the button to the left of the equal sign and enter an amount in the search box. Click the find box at the upper right.

Note that you may need to use the “Reset” button in the upper right to clear any prior searches.

The search results may show many transactions. Click on a transaction and select “Go To” at the bottom right to see the source document. Select Report at the bottom right to create a report in QuickBooks. The export feature will use Excel or CSV.

In addition, you could enter additional criteria for your search. You could, for instance, enter a range of dates.
